It is a tough balancing act, but keeping The Gift that has changed you from those who need it the most is what the Lord would be most disappointed in. It amazing to watch when they finally get it. Never miss the opportunities the Lord gives us everyday. You trully won't be disappointed.

I forgot to give the name. Noel and Aubrey. Aubrey is searching and seems very interested, but my best friend is extremely guarded.

Sounds like God really got your attention this week. My name is Susan, my sister.

JT and family - fighting and dealing with drug addiction. Right now has a good job and has been clean for 7 months.

This article blew me away because of the impact you continue to have on people you meet even though at the time of the meeting you never know what may come out of it.

When I read this article all I could think of is my brother George. He was 11 years older than me and I am very thankful for him.
He always seemed to make the wrong decisions in life, but had the greatest heart. George died from an overdose about 4 year ago now and left behind 4 kids and a wife who pretty much totally broke off contact with us since he passed away. I know that at least two of his kids have gone down the addiction trail, but both I pray are recovering. So my names would be Monique, Nicole, Georgie and Alli. Guy, you are such an encouragement to those around you...don't ever stop...We all need you!

My brother, Rob

In all of the conversations I have had with people who have had experiences with addictions, it seems that friends having overdosed has not had the power to change their lives. Nor did rehabs. The only time remaining clean really endured is when they realized their actions were sin, and they were breaking Gods' heart.
Most recently a man in his mid 20's served out the remainder of his parole in county jail for overdosing with drugs and alcohol. When his sentence was complete he felt his jail time was enough time clean that he didn't need further help. I pray that he humbles himself before God so that Gods' grace may help him stay clean
